is what we see today…
but it’s not a new thing…
for it’s been going on this way.
Cause for decades and decades…
wealth of politicians have grown…
while most Americans struggle…
as the real truth is not known.
For those who make the laws…
tend to benefit themselves…
while many struggle day by day…
just to buy groceries from shelves.
And retirement from Congress…
comes with full benefits after one term…
while most Americans work for years…
for the mere social security they earn.
And the insurance benefits…
for politicians are the best…
while we pay higher premiums…
and usually have to settle for less.
So consider those politicians…
who have been in office for many years…
as their pockets have been padded…
while you’ve sweat blood and tears.
And they run again and again for office…
and say what they will do now…
but what happened to the decades before…
when little has changed somehow.
So beware of career politicians…
and the empty promises they make…
for most are just looking out for themselves…
and all the wealth they can take.
And the lies and manipulations…
that are done behind the scene…
let’s pray for all to be exposed…
so all political corruption can be seen.
