A Homeless Woman and Her Boys…

A homeless woman and her boys…
sitting on the side of the street…
with a bag of their belongings…
and all with looks of defeat.
For they were obviously downcast…
with sadness in all their eyes…
while sitting under a single tree…
shielding from the heat of the sunrise.
For they had so very little…
while most of us have so much…
and my heart aches for them all…
especially for victims of abuse and such.
For all children are innocent…
and these were about 3 and 6…
so many of us were stopping…
to see if a problem we could fix.
But praise God for family…
for someone was reportedly on the way…
so they would no longer be homeless…
but with family they could now stay.
So let’s pray for all the homeless…
and give from the bottom of our heart…
for especially those with children…
all deserve a brand new start.
Now no matter what the reason…
or what the cause of being on the street…
all children deserve better…
and no man, woman, or child should be beat.
So let’s pray for all families…
and that all abuses will cease…
whether drugs, alcohol, or domestic violence…
may we just all live in Peace.
