When An Amber Alert…
When an Amber Alert…
comes to a resolve…
there may still be mysteries…
that need to be solved.
For when a 15 year old girl…
is found with a 50 year old man…
there are so many questions…
and things we don’t understand.
But there’s an abuse of power…
when this age difference exists…
especially for a teacher and student…
whether or not she initially resists. Continue reading
Hope for the Hopeless
Hope for the hopeless…
is what we need to give…
bringing Light in their darkness…
and encouragement to live.
For many feel hopeless…
in the struggles they endure…
but we can bring inspiration…
sharing God’s Love and so much more. Continue reading

Parental Rights Versus Children’s Rights
Parental rights…
is what many cry out!
But children’s rights…
is what this is about.
For Children have rights…
but many are emotionally abused…
by their own parents…
who should love and not misuse.
For negative word after word…
with anger and bitterness shown…
is what’s hidden behind doors…
and these children have known.
Then these parents demand rights…
when the other takes a stand…
as these children become broken…
by abusive parent’s words and hand. Continue reading
Custody Battles… Against Emotional Abuse
This is for the many who seem trapped in custody situations with emotional abuse. Too many do not recognize emotional abuse as abuse but these children suffer from the words and deeds of these abusive parents. Though it’s hard to prove, keep records, pictures, and continue therapy for these children for these therapist may be your child’s advocate in court one day.
Custody battles…
taken to court…
against parents…
with abuse reports.
For emotional abuse…
is hard to prove…
though children suffer…
but can’t be removed. Continue reading
Where Do The Children Belong?
As I think of some friends tonight who have fought to protect their children/ grandchildren from abusive parents, I just want to repost this message as I pray that they will have Kingdom justice in their situations. May the truth be exposed and decisions be made in the best interest of the children.
So many children become trapped in the custody battles that rage today. Unfortunately, many of these children get put back into the hands of those who abuse them. What many do not realize is that narcissistic individuals are pathological liars which makes it very difficult to tell their truth from their lies… which enable these individuals to deceive others and maintain control of their victims… legally. I pray that all lies and manipulations will be exposed and Truth will prevail.
The love of a family…
is so very dear…
but when one “breaks”…
the response for many is fear.
For fear of the unknown…
is so very strong…
but when parents split…
where do the children belong? Continue reading
DV Awareness Day#27: TRIGGER WARNING: Signs of Sexual Abuse in Children
I wanted to put a trigger warning on this video because of it’s sensitive nature. In fact, I was hesitant to even post it. But these warning signs are important and too many children exhibit these signs. We need to be familiar with these warning signs and try to protect the children. In fact, we are all mandatory reporters when it comes to child abuse. Please be aware of these signs to watch for. Continue reading
DV Awareness Day#26: Abuse and Pediatric Injuries
Child abuse injuries…
are more common than we know…
for the child seldom talks…
and most deep wounds don’t show.
And many are sexual…
with inappropriate “play”…
but these adults know better…
and threaten children not to say.
And these sexual wounds…
are not evident like a broken bone…
so we have to watch for warning signs…
for sexual abuse to become known. Continue reading
DV Awareness Day#19: NO MORE DRAMA
As I have been thinking this week about the drama and trauma that goes along with abuse, I remembered this song from several years ago on American Idol. When I heard it, I thought about what an awesome song that it would be for an anti-abuse or anti-bullying campaign. Too many do not understand how the dramas that we live with lead us to the traumas that deeply wound us. I pray that every person reading this will be blessed… and have No More Drama in their lives. Continue reading
