I want you to take a moment for self-reflection.  Take a moment and dig deep into your most inner self and consider how many times that you are really unkind to yourself, relentlessly comparing yourself to others.  Consider that in spite of how many times that you have heard you are loved you are convinced that that is not possible.  That somehow you just don’t meet the criteria to be loved by anyone.  We find our inner thoughts searching for evidence that we don’t stack up, that we are not living to our full potential, that we are just “not good enough.”

  • I am not kind enough
  • I am not loving enough
  • I am the worst mom ever
  • I am the worst friend ever
  • I am the worst sibling ever
  • I am the worst child ever
  • Nobody could possibly like me…

Am I Being Abused? Kindle Book is finally truly ready! yea!

It’s amazing how many of us don’t realize that we are being abused. We just accept the abuse as normal part of marriage…

I got my first book up on Kindle officially a little over a month ago. I wrote it, edited it, put it up, and was seriously unhappy with the way it looked. So I worked on it. Again and again and again.

In the meantime, my husband–our abuser–was fired yet again from his job. He lasted in this one six years. Before that, he was unemployed for two years. Before that, he was fired from four separate jobs over a period of four years. And even more before those.

He’s been seriously grumpy. Depressed. Angry. Frustrated. It’s affecting everything.

I’ve been really sick this past month. I have a bunch of chronic health issues, and with all the stress they reared their ugly head big time. But the Lord is good, and He was with me all the time. Helping me. Guiding me. Protecting all of us.
