“Illegitimate”… or Not

Today, the word “illegitimate” came to me and I suddenly felt the brokenness that many feel when they are labeled this term. But we need to remember that none of us are “illegitimate” in God’s eyes.

“Illegitimate”…
is a term frequently used today…
to describe a child born “out of wedlock”…
but remember God doesn’t see any this way.
For no child is “illegitimate” in God’s eyes…
with a special place in our Father’s Heart…

Inspirational Song For Today: Savior’s Shadow

I heard this song for the first time today and wanted to share with you all. I had read that Blake Shelton wrote this song after divine inspiration that he received in a dream during a rough period in his life. REMEMBER: Deep Wounds = Great Blessings

Today, as I continue to think of victims of abuse and the blessings that the Lord has given all of us, I remembered this message that the Lord clearly spoke to me in 2013 and wanted to share again. Remember that all the pain and heartache that we go through and all the brokenness that we experience, is only an indication of the overflowing blessings that God has in store for us. We just need to trust Him.

“The depths of your wounds is inversely proportional to the heights of your blessings….”


Then, this scripture and words came to my mind…

Psalm 42:7, “Deep calls unto deep…”
Well, I was not sure exactly what this scripture meant so I had to research it. According to Charles Spurgeon’s #865,
