Would you leave…
if abuse you face every day…
whether emotional or physical…
or sexual in any way.
Would you leave…
if anger levels continue to rise…
with death threats coming…

Teen Runaways…

Teen runaways…
run from something every day…
so what is so bad at home…
that they feel they just can’t stay.
Is it rules and regulations…
against things they want to do…

The Woundedness Of Many Children

The woundedness of many children…
may become evident day by day…
with many wrong paths taken…
resulting from things parents do or say.
And even as some parents…
try to set good examples and pray…

Children of Divorce

Children of divorce…
suffer various traumas…
while being put in the middle…
of parents’ painful dramas.
For children love both parents…
though they’ve been hurt by some…
and want their family to survive…

Remember: We Have a Good, Good Father

So many have struggled with earthly fathers that have fallen short of God’s plan as a “dad”.  But we all need to remember that we have a good, good Father who will never let us down. God will never fail us.

The Love Of A Father

The love of a father…
is what so many children miss…
for many dads fall short…
as their “love” is remiss.
For they really don’t know…
how “love” should be shown…

Why, Why, Why?

Why, why, why?
Is what we have all asked…
at one time or another…
with various stresses or attacks.
Like when marriages fall apart…
when one feels marriage is forever…
but the other spouse decides different…
engaging in adultery with whoever.
And like when children are wounded…
by abuses at a stranger’s hand…

should never be put in a trash can…
as stories in the media have told.
For hospitals, fire stations, and more…
are safe havens for unwanted babies…

Abusing a Child…

is something we never want to see…
but it happens often…
in so many a family.
From physical to emotional…
the abuses do vary…
