My Story

To tell you my story… is to tell of Him.

I heard this song for the first time today… and tears just poured down my face. It was like they were talking about me… and God’s Mercy and Grace. For I have written my story… but it’s not about me. It’s about what God can do… when we give our lives to He. Continue reading

Who Am I to Serve You?

I want to share this song with you as I listen to it with tears flowing down my face. “Who am I to serve You, Lord?” as been a question that I have asked many times. I praise Him tonight for His abundant Grace and Mercy that He pours upon us all as He calls us to reach out to help others.

And then He reminds me… It is in our humility that He uses us. It’s not by our strength or power, but His Spirit that we can accomplish what He desires for us to do. Praise God!! Continue reading

Grief

Image result for grief

This is for someone who is suffering the loss of a loved one right now. Know that God feels your pain and sorrow and will bring comfort to you in your brokenness.

Grief…
triggers emotional reactions that are so real…
when we have suffered a loss…
and with it’s effects we have to deal.
For our responses all vary…
from shock, anger, anxiety, or fear.
And we can never anticipate reactions…
to the loss of someone or something dear. Continue reading

Wishing vs Praying

“Why wish upon a star…

when you can pray to the One who made them.”

 “Wishing versus praying”…
were the thoughts that came to me.
For many don’t realize…
how simple it can be.
No elaborate prayers…
memorized or rehearsed…
are needed everyday…
with scripture and verse.
Just talking to God…
like a Friend every day…
brings a closer relationship…
as we humbly come to pray. Continue reading

God’s Grace

How many times will You pick me up…

when I keep letting You down?”

These lyrics really touched my heart, and I just wanted to share this song with you. So many times we fail, but God’s grace and mercy are sufficient for all our shortcomings. Continue reading

Stop Pointing Fingers

Many “Christians” point fingers at others as they point out their “sins”. Some “churches” even ban certain people from their buildings because they are “sinners”. However, we all need to realize that we all sin and it is for these sins that Jesus Christ gave up His life. We are not to judge others. We need to “stop pointing fingers.” Remember these words from this picture… it was “my sin” that nailed him there.”

So many look at others sins…
but fail to look deep within.
And considering what these words say…
we have to look at this another way.
For many point fingers at others…
accusing our sisters and brothers…
but God looks at all sins we make…
not just the others mistakes. Continue reading
