after no computer for a week…
leaving more time for thought…
and God’s presence for me to seek.
For my house has been silent…
except for the rain that pours down…
with no computer or TV…

like a download from God within…

I heard the announcement today…
it’s National Son’s and Daughter’s Day!!
So I want to take a moment to say…
for all our children let’s now pray.
That all will be safe in bed tonight…
as God’s angels protect them through the night.
That all parents will be loving and kind…
and no more abuses we will all find.
That each child will be happy and strong…
and not fall victim to things that are wrong. Continue reading
This thought was brought back to my memory this week and I just want to share with you all again. God loves us all and created us each uniquely different. We all have various gifts, talents, and callings that He implanted in us… but what if our calling was just to please Him and spend eternity with Him. What if our calling was just to return to Him because we bring Him so much joy. He created us. We are His Poems…”Poems Up in Heaven”… all unique and beautifully written with a plan and purpose for His ultimate Kingdom purpose to be manifested on earth. Think about it for “if we remain silent, even the stones would immediately cry out.” (Luke 19:40) Just picture all these “poems” just worshiping and praising Him… for He is worthy of all the glory, honor, and praise.

This is for the many who have been broken by abuses, addictions, or the many obstacles that we stumble upon in this world. I was in that place of brokenness, and I have seen what God can do when we pray Psalm 91 daily. God promises protection and provision… for those who dwell in His Presence. As I prayed one day, these words to Psalm 91 just started rhyming. I want to share with you the “Psalm 91 Poetic Paraphrase” that I wrote that day, and I encourage you all to pray Psalm 91 daily in whatever version you have. His promises are true!

For Father’s Day, I wanted to share this simple message. Fathers, prayerfully lead your family while you follow the Lord. I remember an old staying that I heard after my divorce… “a family that prays together, stays together.” You see, many families fall apart as they struggle with things in this world. But when we hold onto God, our priorities change and our lives are transformed. Trust Him with your life and your family. Just watch what He will do!
On this Father’s Day…
I want to share this picture today.
For it’s deep meaning…
is more than mere words can say.
For you are all called…
to lead your family each day.
But God’s plan is to include Him…
praying for His guidance along the way.
He will lead you with your family…
as you walk with Him in prayer.

Goin’ Fishing…
was a thought that came to me to say.
As I looked over the water…
thinking what a beautiful, peaceful day.
So as we go to work…
or prepare for our daily chores.
Know that God is always with us…
and there is always so much more.
So though my thought was fishing…
casting out a line from a shore.
God’s plan is also fishing…
but casting a net out for many more.
For we never know…
how many lives we will touch.
