there are so many questions…

Human trafficking is a growing problem today
so I lift up these victims and ask you to pray.
For this was written a few years ago…
but the number of victims has grown more than we know.

where football tickets aren’t the only thing sold.
But these trafficking victims need our prayers…
not just criticisms and sickly stares.
Traffickers will bring victims from around the world…
to make money selling sex with young girls.

As the Super Bowl nears, I want to remind everyone that sex trafficking increases in the areas where these big events are occurring. Please be aware of these horrific acts and realize that some of these women that you may see are victims… not willing participants. Please join me in prayer that many of these victims will be able to be rescued in the upcoming weeks.

This is a message to the broken…
who repeatedly try to hide.
But God sees your wounds…
and collected every tear you’ve cried.
And you may try to hide it…
but even we can see right through.
For even the clothes that you wear…
reveal the woundedness in you.
When you wear a long sleeve shirt or coat…
and it’s 90 degrees outside…
don’t you realize that we know…
the wounds you’re trying to hide.
Whether bruises from beatings…
or from a drug abuse injection…
what you are trying to hide…

This is for the multitude of us who have been raised in dysfunctional families of some sort. Unacceptable behaviors become acceptable to our children when they are experienced in their homes. And as these abnormal behaviors become normal then the cycle of abuse continues.
Dysfunctional families…
to which many of us belong.
With unacceptable behaviors…
but we feel nothing’s wrong!
For the behaviors we see…
become acceptable at best…
for we live with the drama…

As narcissism as been my focus this week, I want to address another growing problem with the internet these days. Too many of our youth fall victim to the lies and deception that the obscurity of the internet allows. Identities are hidden as names are changed while the innocent trust and the deceptive play harmful games. Kids are stolen and sold into trafficking with promises of love or wealth or fame, while many parents don’t even realize that these youth are communicating with strangers.
Selfies, pride and pornography…
are growing problems today.
As many become absorbed…
in the worldliness of this day.
Teens taking pictures…
of themselves with such pride.
And even pictures of parts…
that should be clothed and hide. Continue reading
This is my message for today. These words came to me… “God blesses us so w can bless others”. So many don’t even see God’s Hand in our blessings. We live in homes while others live on streets. We sleep peacefully in beds while others lay on the ground. Many feel safe and secure while others live in fear and turmoil. Sometimes we just need to open our eyes and hearts to what is going on around us and give a little more to help others. It is what God has called each of us to do…
God blesses us…
so we can bless others.
He gives us all we have…
to share with sisters and brothers.
He gives us comfort…
so we can comfort others in need…
for we will have compassion…
as God’s comfort did lead.
He gives us Love…
so we can love in return…
giving Love to others…
