400th Post: The Walking Wounded: The Path from Brokenness to Wholeness is Going to Print!

For my 400th post since starting this blog in May, I am excited to announce that my book,

The Walking Wounded: The Path from Brokenness to Wholeness

has been published by Bush Publishing and is now going to print. It will soon be available on Amazon.com  and Bush Publishing as well as The Walking Wounded website. I will announce later on this blog when it will officially be available and the links to purchase it.

I just want to take this opportunity to thank all of my readers who have supported me on the journey to the fulfillment of the calling on my life as God continues to lead me down the path from brokenness to wholeness to totally overcoming the abuses of this world.  I encourage all victims of abuse to join me in overcoming the abuses of our past and reach for the future that God has planned for each of us.  Jeremiah 29:11 says, ” For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for good and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

  1. Congratulations and wishing you success in getting this out to as many places as possible. Hopefully more and more will feel their inner strength and power and use it touch other lives in loving and genuine ways…I will order it when it is on Amazon. I allowed myself to fall apart, a few years ago…he said he needed to go for the real gold…I felt the pain sink deep, felt myself fall apart and then re-configure and reform and saw with heart-breaking clarity all my own small abuses from my life….when we got back together and it was my time to leave, I told him he was the real gold, but needed to let himself shine…I couldn’t make that inner decision for him….He went into a boastful mode about how much better off he now was….but I could feel compassion for the need to try and build himself up by trying to lessen another person….and life at the moment is not allowing us to repeat these practices….I hope all our sharing will inspire a new generation to be architects of a new design….

    • Amen… Thanks Robyn!! I really appreciate your support. There are so many of us who have hurt by abuses from those who supposedly love us. I pray that this book will touch many lives of victims as well as open the eyes of the abusers… God bless you my friend!

  2. WOW ! ! ! 400 posts ! Let God be glorified ! I see your posts come up on my EMAIL every day …. and my time gets vaporized with all the “stuff” happening (both worthwhile and “tyranny of the urgent”). I just want to emphasize my appreciation and respect for what you are doing in you ministry of writing and praying, informing, encouraging, fighting the good fight. I worked with adolescent females for five years, about 90% of them victims of sexual abuse. I know that isolation and “secrets” are two of the big themes in this area … more accurately, two of many themes. Your blog brings freedom and breaks through the tragic isolation victims find themselves in. And informing folks that the secrets have power, until they are told (as in story) …. Bless you, and onward. T

    • Thank you so much!! I really appreciate you following me on this journey. So many are wounded by things in our past which negatively affect our futures. These wounds have to be released so that we can heal and move forward. Thanks again and many blessings to you my friend!!

    • Thank you so much Diana for all of your encouragement and support. I know that God brought us together for a time such as this and He has great plans.. Many blessings to you my sister!!!
